Some Internet Service Providers (ISP) may require the subscribers to report a device's MAC address before it can be connected to the Internet. If you ever need it, here is how to find the network MAC address of your NextD Player:


For NextD N2:


WiFi MAC address: Settings->Network->WiFi->MAC Address

Ethernet MAC address: Settings->Network->Ethernet->MAC Address. It is also printed on a sticker at the bottom of your NextD N2.


For NextD N1:


Wi-Fi MAC address:

1. Click on the Settings icon on the desktop screen of NextD

2. Highlight the "Wi-Fi" entry

3. Click on the menu button (3 vertical dots) on the upper right corner of the screen, then select "Advanced"

4. The unique MAC address for your NextD Player should be located on the 4th row of the "Advanced" results page. A typical MAC address looks like: aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff


Ethernet MAC address:

1. Click on the Settings icon on the desktop screen of NextD.

2. Highlight the "Ethernet" entry

3. The unique MAC address for your NextD Player should be located on the right side of the screen. A typical MAC address looks like: aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff
