Some apps don't support NextD even if that the user can download and install these apps from alternatives app stores other than Google Play.
Following are the apps that are known to not support NextD in their current versions. The list may change over time as they add more supported devices:
- PlayStation Vue (Prohibits root access)
- Spectrum TV (Prohibits root access)
- HBO NOW (Do not respond to mouse or touch input)
- HDHomeRun (DRM restricted content)
- Xfinity Stream (Certain formats not supported)
The following apps do not allow output via HDMI or AirPlay due to content licensing restrictions
- Verizon FIOS Mobile
- SHOWTIME
